Allow yourself to enjoy what the forest has to offer. Slow down and see the forest like never before. Studies show spending time in the forest will reduce stress, lower heart rate and boost your immunity. Forest Therapy Walks are 2 to 3 hours using all of our senses to experience what the forest has to offer.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Take a nature walk through the forest using Reiki to get in touch with the elements as well as bring peace and gratitude into your practice.
A walk in the woods gazing at trees, flowers and wildlife, can leave you feeling restored and rejuvenated. Although we feel that spending time in nature is good for us, we may not realize just how good it can be for our health. The forests play a major role in a healthy mind, body, and soul.
Of course, we’re all familiar with the physical benefits of hiking, but we often overlook some of its mental help as well. Backpacking in the outdoors not only helps with your self-esteem, but also helps lower stress and provide a feeling of overall wellness. (Photo: Resurrection Bay, Alaska)
